Kay MUNDY Obituary

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday 29 October 2025, aged 87 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Neil. Loved mother of Christine & Lawrence, Helen & Michael, and Maria & Derek. Dearly loved sister and sister-in-law of Allan & Val, George & Helen, Graeme & Marie and Trish & Rob. Kay would dearly love to thank the Julia Wallace staff for her wonderful care. "I can't thank Marg and Gail enough for all they have done over the many years." A Requiem Mass for Kay will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, 197 Broadway Avenue, Palmerston North, (tomorrow) Friday 31 October 2025 at 2.00pm. Messages can be sent to the Mundy family, c/- PO Box 1014, Palmerston North.

Rest in peace now kay, we have shared many cups of tea and chats filled with laughter with you in your mobility scooter and Merv bassett discussing both your earlier days in Greymouth at school and working for Dr Ray. And during COVID shopping and leaving supplies at the gate of Julia Wallace. Then long chats on the phone!! Taking you to mass at the home was always an adventure and your smile was beautiful. Thank you to Marg and Gael for being your amazing caring understanding family . I attended your service to honour a beautiful loved and respected lady. You kept your faith now rest in peace.
