Kathleen McNAUGHTON Obituary

You will be missed, you were a fab teacher and inspired my love of cooking. It was a pleasure to be your neighbour.

Reading all the tributes to Kathleen made me think - she didn't ever think she was so well thought of by so many. A life well lived.

Kathleen was a true friend and we enjoyed her company over many years. We looked forward to seeing on her trips to Scotland and treasured the time we spent with her in Fielding on two occasions.

I am privileged to be the god daughter of Kathleen. She was such great company on her home trips meeting up with so many people and keeping us all up to date with life here and in NZ. You will be sadly missed x

I met Kath at Feilding Seniornet. Always so patient and helpful to those on their `computer´ journey. Kath´s lifelong service to others is immeasurable, and a treasured friend to many. Rest in peace Kath.

Miss McNaughton was my home ec teacher at FAHS years ago. She got my into the love of cooking. She was a great mentor

Sending condolences to the family. I first met Kath (Home Ec. teacher) at St Peter's College where I was the Librarian. Kath was a lovely friendly lady. I enjoyed having he a catch up with
her over lunch and was looking forward meeting up with her again, when I heard the very sad news of her passing. RIP dear friend.

Miss McNaughton was a great teacher. She taught me throughout my years at FAHS. She lived just a street away and always said hello. Even years after school she knew who I was and always chatted. Love to her family. Much respect to a wonderful teacher.

Kath was lovely. I only taught at FAHS for two years (1976/7) but I remember vividly her warmth & kindness as do the other teachers with whom I shared a house in Sandilands St for those two years

Such great memories of a super cool neighbour and an awesome teacher. I shared miss mcnaughtons death notice on past pupils of feilding high school. There are so many lovely comments left by her past students. She was so respected. Rest easy from Donna & Mark Dais

Kath was our Home Ec teacher at FAHS at different times, but most of all we will miss our lovely neighbour of 16 years. Thank you Kath for all the conversations over the fence over the years and the kindness you have shown us and the girls. It's not the same without you. Rest in Peace, your neighbours at number 23.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Miss McNaughton - she was one of my favourite teachers at Feilding Ag in the late 80s and 90s. A Home-Ec legend!

I am sorry to hear the sad news about the Passing of Mrs Mac Naughton. She was my Home Economics teacher in the 3rd Form.She was a great teacher. I enjoyed her Home Economics class. RIP

Very sad to read. She was a lovely lady and one of my favourite teachers at Feilding Agricultural High School back in the 80s.

I am incredibly sad to hear of Kaths passing. She was my inspiration to where I am now, and I enjoyed our catch ups and her positive guidance.. sending strength and love yo all the family, she always had so much love for you all xx

I didn't know Kath very well, mainly through Rebus and her voluntary work at Coombrae. However, she was always lovely and friendly to talk to, and oh that delightful Scottish accent. RIP Kath, you'll be greatly missed.

Our dearest cousin Kath, was loved by all she came in contact with over the years. From all our extended family in NZ, Australia and the US, our thoughts are with you all in Scotland. I'm so sad to be the last of our McNaughton clan left in NZ.
