GURNEY, Kathleen Jo-Ann (Wright) September 15, 1934 - July 23, 2022 Predeceased by husband George and parents Stan and Margaret Wright, Jo-Ann passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Survived by sons Richard (Marlene), Lyle (Karen), Russell (Anna), and Blair (Lisa); grandchildren Shaun (Crystal), Stephanie, Sarah, Melina, Wilson, Alanna, Mitchell, Alex (John), and Haley; great-grandchildren Brooklyn, Elias, and Ryker. Jo-Ann was born and raised in Victoria and graduated from Oak Bay High School and then Sprott Shaw College. She worked for Andrew Sheret Ltd. and Yarrows Shipyard until the birth of her first son and then mastered her career as Mom, Grandma, OG, and Mrs. Claus. Jo-Ann will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Sequoia Centre, at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive, Saturday, September 24, 2022, at 2:00 pm, followed by a reception.
