I would liked to have visited Kath, she was not far away from me in Putaruru. Warm memories of your visits to No 12. A gentle but strong woman - fancy the smallest bairn of the twins living 98 years! Love to you all with sympathy and gratitude for a long life well led.

How long had Kath been in Hamilton? I was so close in Putaruru I would loved to have visited her. Are you in the Waikato Richard? Warm memories of 12 Nelson St and Feilding; and a gentle but strong woman. 98 years of life from the littlest twin' - testimony to medical science, her genes and lifestyle choices. Where in the world are you Nguyen's? I think of you often. I have recently retired back to Taradale myself - always the place to visit Lorna and Reg, but is now home to me. But thoughts of home in my childhood include memories of visits to No 12 by the Edgecombes. I have been thinking of Kathleen lately and wondering if she was still with us. She will be with you always in your thoughts, memories and no doubt characteristics! My love to you all as you farewell a wonderful woman it would seem you would have forever. Some would suggest you must be ready for this, but 98 years makes it a shock. All those years, all those memories - it is a lot to say goodbye too - but you get to keep the memories! May she Rest In Peace.
