DELAMERE, Katerina. - After a short illness, our dear whaea/kuia/karani Katerina Delamere nee Hohaia passed away suddenly, on Thursday, January 2, 2014. Dearly loved wife of Tokanui Delamere o te Whanau A Apanui. Loved mama of 13 children - the late Valma Joyce, and the late Hinekehu Hohaia (Taitoko). Survived by Ivan and Gina Hohaia, Ruru Falwasser, Lehi and Dianne Hohaia, Lamen and Belena Hohaia, Nephi and Jackie Hohaia-Hall, Ngaire Delamere, Marlene and Hoana Delamere-Heap, Matewa (Dockie) and Chris Delamere-Broughton, Mihi Delamere, Moke and Lil Delamere/Kimura, Glo Te Kororia and Moana Delamere/Whatu. Dearly loved Karani/Nan of 47 mokopuna, 62 Great mokopuna, two Great Great mokopuna and many mokopuna o Hapaitia Te Kohanga Reo. Karani Katerina will be lying in-state at Aorangi Marae, Feilding, until 10am Saturday, thereafter to Whakaaratamaiti Marae, Domain Road, Putaruru. The service and burial will be held on Monday, January 6, 2014, at the whanau urupa, Whakaaratamaiti.
