Julie BROUGHAM Obituary

BROUGHAM, Julie Claire:

Peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on Thursday 9th December 2021. Dearly loved wife and soulmate of David. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Katrina; Nicholas and Kristin. Loved sister and sister-in law of Warren, Maren and John; Nigel and Vicki and families.
Dared to dream and look what she achieved. Helped by her special mate Vom Feinsten. Now set free to ride the

Julie & I were school friends when I lived in Longburn and we shared a love for horses. I remember the fun we had riding full speed down the old railway lines from Longburn to Karere - Julie with her beloved Black Shetland Pony - little did I know when I watched Rio Equestrian events Julie Brougham was my childhood friend for a few years many years ago! I never forgot the fun we had Julie and you were such a confident rider even then - I was in awe of you! RIP Julie and I send my sincere condolences to your family.

David, Katrina & Nicolas...... I just heard about Julies passing - my deepest condolences to you.
Over the last 4 years, I got to know Julie.
She was a lady who knew what she wanted, she was aspiration to all who knew her and she was a fighter.
I spoke with her last in mid October.
Even though she wasn't well, she refused to sit idle and still had her positive attitude.
She will be missed by us all, gone but never forgotten, given her achievements.
Best Regards ❤
