I met Julie and Owen when their son Peter was a resident at Kowhai Villa, Puketiro and Peter was a boarder and went home in the weekends. Julie was a devoted Mother to Peter and he loved her. He would get so excited when it was home time.

Julie was a dedicated and capable
Organist at the Porirua Hospital Chapel for a number of years
I was associated with her during my years as a chaplain 2008-2012; and latterly at the December 2025 60th anniversary of the Chapel, when she played beautifully to honour this important event. My condolences go to Owen and all her whanau and friends. May you rest in peace and rise in glory Julie
