Joy CHILDS Obituary

On February 12, 2024, passed away peacefully at Arvida Olive Tree Care Unit, Palmerston North, in the presence and company of her family, in her 91st year. Devoted and loving wife of the late Maurice. Cherished and adored mother and mother-in-law of Leigh, Denise and John, Murray and Bradyn. Gran of Hayley, Nathan and Kazue, Kyla, Shannan and Jason, Joelle and Gerald, Morgan and Tom, Holly and James. G.G of Jack, Charlie, Thomas, Katie, Mackenzie, Ella, Brooklyn, Haiden, Luka, Mason, Reagan, Piper, and Rosie.
A private family service to celebrate Joy's Life will be held in Cotton's Chapel, followed by cremation. Joy's family would like to thank the staff at Olive Tree Care Unit and Arohanui Hospice for the wonderful support and compassion shown while Joy was in their care.
