Jonathan TYSON Obituary

It's with great sadness we would like to inform everyone that Jonathan Tyson (Jono, Jon) has suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on Monday 24th July 2023. Aged 47 years. Dearly loved father of Blake and Louie. Cherished friend of Andrea and Mat, Nick and Chanel, Rachael, Karen, Maddie and Nei, Amaia and Te Arahia and Cam. On Saturday 29th July at 3.00pm there will be a service at The Lychway Chapel, 5 Roy Street, Palmerston North, for a final farewell of our beloved Jono, from there we will go to The Willow Park Tavern function bar for the aftermatch. We love you Jono, our hearts are all broken. Messages can be sent to the Tyson family, c/- PO Box 1014, Palmerston North.

During times of loss we find ourselves troubled by things we do not understand. There are no answers to comfort the grief felt by all who knew and loved John. Only lasting love and precious memories. Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we are feeling at his loss. The Walker family, Simon and Bronwyn, Damian, Ben and Claire are thinking of you all at this very sad time. We are living in Australia and am unable to attend Jonathan's celebration of a life well lived and cut too short. We all have many fond memories of growing up with John in Palmerston North. In Jonno's company, his infectious energy and laughter were contagious and he was always so much fun. We hold him forever in our hearts. He will be missed. We are thinking of you during this sad time.
