John RUSHTON Obituary

Passed away suddenly on Thursday, 8 January 2026, aged 74 years. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Susan. Loved father of Sam, Beth, Danny, Sophie and Michael. Grandad of Ethan, Blake, Max, Millie, Archie, Chelsea, Heidi and William. A service for John will be held in the Feilding Funeral Chapel, on Friday, 16 January at 10.30am, followed by a private cremation.

A true gentleman and fantastic supporter of, and contributor to, the Manawatu Classic Motorcycle club. It was through John´s efforts and organisational skills that the club was able to donate significant funds to worthy causes such as the Hospice and Rescue Helicopter. John´s services to the club were recognised by making him a life member in 2024. He will be greatly missed by all.
