John had a way with words - it didn't matter how diverse the occasion, John could find the appropriate words to suit. He wrote numerous verses over the years, to which I was privileged to receive copies. We will miss your ability to use the English language for writing.

The Goldstream Jersey Stud was one stud

to be reckon with.John bread some useful cows and bulls that have gone to other studs for herd for
improvement.

John was a very good secretary of the NZ Jersey Breeders Association & was much respected by Jersey Breeders across the country for his good work.My condolences to members of John's family in their loss.

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday 8th October 2025. Dearly loved brother of the late Lorna. Much loved Uncle of Lois and David, Beryl and Peter, Fay and Clive, Diane and Den, Janice and Daryl, and Great-Uncle to all their families.

Sadly missed by us all
