John MORRESEY Obituary

On Monday 18 September 2023, after a short illness. Much loved husband for 59 years of Jan. Adored Dad of Michele and Wilson, Leah and Keith, Rhonda and Dave, Kim and Mark, Keri and Steve, and Patrice and Phil. Dearly loved Grandad and Great-Grandad of Vanessa and William, Paige, Matt and Ellie, Jason, Lily and Avadawn, Adam and Hinewai, Fraser and Maddy, Jordan, Blake, and Devin. Loved son of the late Paddy (boss) and Clare. Much loved brother of Pat (dec), Noel, Kevin, Tony and Mary and brother-in-law of the Drummond family. Great buddy of Mac the cat. Many thanks to the wonderful team at Arohanui Hospice for their compassionate care of John and Dad. In lieu of flowers a donation directly to them as a memorial contribution would be appreciated by the family. A private family service will be held. Friends and family are invited to a social get-together to celebrate John at the Halcombe Tavern at 5.00pm on Friday 22 September 2023. We will gather to share some of our favourite memories and stories of John, who will be greatly missed.

Our Leah, true sincere condolences on the passing over of your dad, you must now focus on the way he lived and whom he lived for not how he passed. Fly free until your love's ones are once again with you, it's time to say goodbye to the one you love until you are united once again. In caring friendship, Connie, Paul and Lou
