The Mundels - To Liz and family. We were all devastated to hear the news about John. Being your `front´ neighbours for three years led to many wonderful chats, walks, afternoon teas and cuddles. Our kids thought of you both as their surrogate grandparents. John was such a devoted family man. He often talked about all his children (their partners) and his grandchildren. He was loyal, honest and always willing to lend a hand or offer help where needed. We will always cherish our wonderful memories and time spent with both of you. Liz, you are in our thoughts today, and always! Love The Mundels (Ann, Toby, Charlie, Remi and Freya) X

Dear Liz and family. So saddened to hear of John's tragic accident. We have fond memories of the days in Palmerston North cycling of standing many hours on the start/finish line watching our sons compete. We formed a great friendship between our 2 families. Andrew (London) sends his sympathy.

LITHGOW, John:
Died suddenly on June 6, 2023, as a result of a tragic accident. Much loved son of Noreen and Viv. Loved and admired brother of Neil, Pat, Lynne (deceased), Mark and Michael. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle and brother-in-law who was loved by all. John's quiet manner, sense of humour and sharp wit made him a special person that will always be remembered. So many great memories particularly of family time spent at Himitangi in his youth.
Forever in our hearts.
