I didn´t see him often, but I remember Uncle John as a larger than life character. A special person with a big heart and a big laugh. It was a beautiful service that I was grateful to be able to watch online. Sending much love to all the family at this difficult time. Lynne and Craig

We are very sad to hear of John´s passing. I have known John through work since 1974. Always a smile and a joke. Playing Father Christmas on a red ride on lawnmower is a treasured memory for us of John.

John was a big part of our lives.
Great memories of his humour, fun personality and happy smile.
Special times spent with him at Kipling street and Foxton beach .
John will always be fondly remembered by many that knew him.

I have known John since the early 80's through family & have shared many with him & Eva..
