John HUDSON Obituary

Peacefully at Summerset on Monday, 2nd February 2026, in his 83rd year. Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Janette. Loved brother of Dian, Gordon and Bill (deceased). Cherished father and father-in-law of Kathryn and Malcolm, David and Julie, Murray and Cherie, Robert and Elin. Loved grandfather of 6 granddaughters and his two great-grandsons. Messages to the Hudson Family may be left on John's tribute page at eagars.co.nz/John A service to celebrate John's life will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 46 Watson Street, New Plymouth, on Thursday 5th February 2026, at 2.00pm, followed by a private family cremation. For those unable to attend, John's funeral will be livestreamed via his tribute page.
