It is with great sadness that John passed away on Monday 27th June 2022. Dearly loved husband of Elaine of 62 years. Son of Rev. George and Hilda Hopkins. Brother of Ruth and brother-in-law John. Loved and admired father of Ian, Lynnette, Timothy and Andrew, and their families. Grandad and Grandpa of his 13 grandchildren and Great-Grandad of his 7 great-grandchildren. Much loved uncle of Rachel, Helen and Alison, and their families. A private service and cremation was held on 1st July at The Beauchamp Chapel, Palmerston North. John and Elaine appreciate the caring nursing of the staff of Julia Wallace Retirement Village.

Elaine & Family,
