37962, S/Sgt (Ex NZ Army), RF Cadets, RNZEME, RNZAOC. On 5th August 2023 at Bainswood on Victoria Rest Home, Rangiora, aged 81 years. Dearly loved and cherished husband of Joy for 60 years. Much loved father and father-in-law of John and Viki, Gavin and Andrea, Jacki and Grant, Rachel and Peter, and the late David. Beloved grandad of Megan, Patrick, Isabella, Evan, Ryan, Michael, Matthew, Stephanie, and Rebecca. A Requiem Mass for John will be celebrated at St Patrick's Church, 61 Fuller Street, Kaiapoi, on Wednesday 9th August at 11.00am, thereafter interment at Belfast Cemetery. "At home with Jesus."
