We were saddened to hear of John's passing and missing his send off. A wonderful landlord and friend to us at Manawatu Street- never short of a story and sensing the atmosphere of the room! A fantastic friend who graciously MC'd at our wedding 24 years ago - a class act. Such a big loss to your family, our love , thoughts and prayers are with you all. Andrew and Angela Fage

Hello Bruce

To your father, Ross, you and Wendy my sincere sadness on the passing of John.

I go back to school days when John was cutting my hair in Botanical Road.

Then present at number of parties of which he was always entertaining/adventures to say the least.

I am not able to attend Thursday but my prayers will be with you and family as I watch the celebration of the fullness of life John shared with so many and we are the better for being part of.

John is in the hands of our heavenly father, rest in comfort without pain now.
Godbless John.

My warmest Regards

Graham Hewer
