DOWNER, John Tod (JD):
Late driver for Allied Concrete, Chris Gommans, Road Star, JB Wares, Ready Crete, Paul Turner Transport. Waverley Bulk, Wanganui Drainage. Beloved husband of Maureen, and a loved father, brother, uncle, grandad and great-grandad. Many thanks to the Renal Unit, Hospice Whanganui, the Home Care ladies, and doctors who have cared for JD. Thanks also to the staff at Clevelands. Messages to M. Downer, c/- Cleveland Funeral Home, PO Box 7102, Wanganui. John is at home until his service at the Wanganui Crematorium Chapel, McNeil Street, Wanganui, to be held on Wednesday, 3rd May 2023, at 10.00am.

Worked with John for many years,always willing to lend a hand in any situation,loved his truck and always had a laugh,shut the door John and lock her up,rest in peace mate.
