John DOUGHERTY Obituary

Of Feilding. Passed away peacefully on Thursday, 9 October 2025, aged 75 years. Dearly loved husband of Ellen, for 51 years. Loved father of Angela and Jarrod. Very special Poppa to Lilly-Renee and Bella. Son of Fran and Bernard (both deceased), and Marita, loved brother and brother-in-law of Dennis and Elaine, Erin and Bruce Falconer. Son-in-law of Jessie and Hugh Harold (both deceased). Loved brother-in-law of Terence, Raymond, Val and Terry Moynihan, Peter, Michael and Dawn Harold (all deceased), Anne and Wright Broughton. Loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate John's life will be held at William Cotton & Sons Chapel, 29 Beattie Street, Feilding on Monday, 20 October, at 1.00pm. The family would like to thank the Arohanui Hospice for their wonderful care of John. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Arohanui Hospice via www.arohanuihospice.org.nz would be appreciated.
