DAVENPORT, John:
Formerly of Pahiatua, suddenly at home in Masterton on 27 October 2016. Dearly loved husband of Clare. Loved father and father-in-law of Peter and Liz (England), Ian and Jill (Pahiatua), Helen and Andrew Pound (TeAwamutu), Mark and Netty (Pahiatua), Maree and Andy Hoare (Feilding). Loved and treasured Grandad JD of all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Kay and Beverley Davenport (Woodville), Ann and Doug Simpson (Masterton), Jill and the late Trevor Nelson (Masterton), Mary and the late Jim Seymour-East (Whitianga). Messages to the family may be sent C/- P.O. Box 2035 Kuripuni, Masterton 5842. In accordance with John's wishes a private family service has been held.

We were sorry to learn of the death of John recently. Johnny says he always enjoyed a conversation or two with him. I always found him to be a gentleman of the old school. Rest in peace, John. Thinking of you all - Colleen Daysh.

Sorry to hear of Johns passing. He was a fantastic supporter of the Bush Harrier Club and major sponsor of our annual Half Marathon. Our deepest sympathy to Clare and the family. Rest in peace John. Thanks for everything. From the Bush Harrier Club Pahiatua.
