CLARKE, John Kenneth:
Passed away peacefully at his home, on 9 June 2018, surrounded by his loving family, aged 84. Dearly loved husband of Rosemary. Loved and respected father and father-in-law of Daniel, Andrew, and Nicholas & Kathryn. Grandfather of Louise, Alistair and Suzanne. And a loved brother and brother-in-law of Billy & Helen, and Olive & Nevin (dec). A service for John will be held at The Lychway Chapel, 5 Roy Street, Palmerston North, on Thursday 14 June 2018, at 10.30am, followed by private cremation. The family wish to acknowledge their thanks for the care given to John by his caregivers, nurses and the staff of Arohanui Hospice.

A lovely man with whom I was privileged to spend many enjoyable hours chatting about Northern Ireland, present and past as well as any other subject that may have come up. My sincere sympathy and love to you rosemary and to your wonderfully supportive family.
