John ANDERSON Obituary
12 November 1952 - 21 February 2026
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of John Robert Anderson on Saturday 21st at the Blokart track in Sanson. John had sailed and raced that day, and tragically passed away doing something he loved. He was much loved by his wife Raewyn, and family, Ian and Lisa, Rob and Cath, Stuart and Grant, Olivia and Kaleb as well as by the wider family and friends. The family wishes to thank the medical and emergency teams, and the Fire Brigade, for their efforts. A memorial service for John will be held in Cotton's Chapel, 697 Main Street, Palmerston North, on Thursday 26th February 2026, at 10.30am.

John what can I say, no more onn line chats after a big rugby game ,no more friendly visits at motuoapa, going to miss you.

Please accept our condolences. I had enjoyed my brief association with John and his Blokart colleagues. John was highly respected, and the Club and track is a credit to their hard work and competance.
