John ALGIE Obituary

So sorry to read of John´s passing.
He was a true gentleman.

Have just recently learned of John 's death. We met your Dad and later your Mother when they visisted us in Canada on two occasions. First met John at the Calgary Olympics in 1988 twice. Our Christmas card addressed to him in late 2022 was returned to us and we searched on Goggle and came across his death notice. I do realize that Bonny suffers from dementia.

Sorry to hear of your loss of your husband, dad. I ran into him a few months ago. He was happy to see me.

My heartfelt condolences to Bonny and Johns family's.
One of the true gentleman I have known and had great pleasure to getting to know.
I missed our talks about Pahiatua's history and his many chats with us; staff.
He's devotion to Bonny and his caring nature to our many residents. He will be missed by us all.
It sadly me he could not attend his friends anniversary/ birthday down south in October; because John told me that he hoped he would be still well enough.
You will be sadly missed by so many, may you RIP.

Sorry to hear of your dad's passing Bruce. I fondly remember him and Bonny on the sideline at many a hockey game during Awatapu days. Love to the whanau
