ARENDS, Johannes Bernardus (Jan), of Pahiatua. - On Saturday, June 15, 2013 (peacefully) surrounded by his loving family, at home, aged 79 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Sien for 54 years. Much loved father and father in-law of Grace (deceased); John and Janine; Geoff and Ester; Paul and Jan; and Caroline and Gary. Cherished Opa of Millie and Willie, Sophie and Pita, and Abby and Troy; Anna, and Sam; Jackie, and Alex; and Caitlin, and Jacob. Treasured great-Opa of Cooper, Ruby and Ali. Loved brother-in-law of Piet and Clara Mensen, Paula Roelfs, and Mien Arends. Great friend to Theo and Riet Geling. Special thanks to Dr Keall for her kindness and care of Jan. "Rest in Peace".
