SMITH, Joan Isabell:
Passed away at Peppertree Rest Home, aged 86, with her family at her side. Wife of the late David for 63 years. Loved mum of Sharon Richards (Whanganui), Deborah and Shane Cooksley (Palmerston North), and Warren Smith (Auckland). Loved Nana Joan of 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. The family would like to thank the carers at Peppertree, Joan really valued your friendships. At Joan's request a private cremation has been held. Joan was a great member of the Northern Bowling club for a number of years many great times we had on and off the green, I remember winning the club triples with Joan and Marlene Brown then going on to win the champion of championship. RIP Joan Our thoughts are with the family
