McINTOSH, Joan Cicely:
Dr Joan McIntosh died at Palmerston North Hospital after a stroke, aged 101 years old. She is mourned by her husband John, daughters Ann Kilduff and Frances Dibble and seven grandchildren. The family wish to thank the staff of Ward (OPAL) 25 for their kind and sensitive care of Joan. The funeral will be at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit on Monday, June 28 at 11.00am. No flowers but any donations to the Fred Hollows Foundation.

I retain many happy memories of your time as Director of The Emergency Department. It was indeed a privilege to work with you as a Charge Nurse during those years of late 1970,s Rest now in Peace. My condolences to your family. William Flowerdew. RN now retired.
