Jennifer Ruth (Jenny):
Of Pahiatua, on Friday 25 November, 2016 (peacefully) at Palmerston North Hospital, after a short illness, aged 75 years. Dearly loved wife of Ron. Much loved Mum of Cathie, Scott, and Iain, and their partners. Loved step-Mum of Paul, Terry, Michelle, Darin, and Troy, and their partners, and Granny to all her precious Grand and great-Grandchildren. Loved twin sister to Barbara and Aunty to Susan, and Richard, and their families. "Our grateful thanks to the staff of Ward 29, Palmerston North Hospital for their wonderful care of Jenny." Messages to Mr. R. Field, c/- PO Box 23, Pahiatua. A service to celebrate Jenny's life will be held at St. Paul's Union Church, corner Arthur and Huia Streets, Pahiatua on Tuesday, 29 November, 2016 at 2.00pm. Private cremation thereafter.

Sorry Ron, didn't know you but knew all your kids from days gone by. I remember Jenny (known as Jenny Babe) being the only other parent in the world that my strict Dad trusted for his naughty 15 year old to be safe with. Her daughter Cathie was my best friend back in 1977. Would love to catch up with her. I would light a thousand candles for Jenny as she was a beacon of light love and happiness and I always felt safe.
