James PENDLETON Obituary

Passed away at age 89, on Friday 8 August 2025 at Palmerston North Hospital, after a brave battle with melanoma. During his illness, Jim was lovingly cared for at home by his son Daniel. Jim is survived by his children: Stephen, Andrea, Megan Garcia, and Daniel; his grandchildren: Julian Garcia, Charlotte Garcia, Rex Wenger, Leah, and Sophia Garcia; and his sister, Mary Alice Mitchell. Preceded in death by daughter Amanda, and sister Ann Carper. Messages for Jim's family may be left via robertjcotton.co.nz/funerals. A private service for Jim was held on Friday 15 August 2025 as per his wishes. Jim will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
