The members of Social Issues Network Council of Social Services (SINCOSS) wish to say we will miss Jackie. Jackie was one of the original members who created the SINCOSS network and lobbied to have the MDC create the Feilding Community House. We think of Jackie's family members as you grieve for your dear mother. Sincere wishes to you all.

So many memories of Jackie's unwavering commitment to us who lived in Highbury, Takaro and Westbrook, the establishment of the Highbury Whanau Support group, the late nights, the challenges and David's support too. Brilliant committed social worker and educator and so much more. Aroha to Janet and all Jackie's whanau. What a legacy she leaves social and community workers. Reading this from Singapore. Remembering the early days studying Social Work at Massey University ,so much fun and commitment which I am sure shaped the future of social work for years to come. Hard to believe you have done your dash. My thoughts are with your family especially Lorraine, Guy and Lizzie.

An amazing woman who positively influenced decades of Social and Community Workers. I am one of fortunate Social Workers who crossed paths with Jackie at the beginning of my career. Rest in love Jackie. Arohanui for your Whanau. Another mighty Totara has fallen.

I have just heard of Jackie's passing and probably won't make it to her funeral on Friday. My deepest condolences to all her large whanau. I'm sure she will have a send off fitting for someone who gave so much to her community. She was a wonderful friend and mentor to me all the years we were involved with the Highbury Whanau Support Group.
