Irene Ellen (Rene)
(nee Rankin):
(Formerly of Levin)
NZ WAAC Reg No. 816195. On Thursday 25 January 2018 in Feilding, aged 96 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Jack, and mother and mother-in-law of Ben and Helen (Melbourne), Keith and Stephanie (Stevie) (Feilding). Granny of Shaun, Glen and Helen, and great-Granny of Jack and Chance (all of Melbourne). Rene's wish is for everyone to bring a flower from their own garden to place on her casket. A service for Rene will be held at the Salvation Army Worship and Community Centre, Durham Street, Levin, on Thursday 1 February 2018 at 1.30pm, followed by private cremation.

When I think of you Granny I have some wonderfull memories some of these being going to the beaches close to Levin, going to the river to swim the Glen & collecting rivers rocks that you would make into little characters, you driving us around in the little Datto, your shoe collection, & your love for floral art just name a few great memories. My plan is to in the next 12 months to show my family(Yaz,Taylah,Chance) all these places where I have these fond memories were made.

To my Dad & Uncle Keith & aunty Stevie, & the rest of the family kindest thoughts & deepest sympathies are with you at this time.

I will miss you deeply & I am sad Yaz, Taylah & Chance never were able to get to know you...
