Ilse SURGENOR Obituary

Sincere condolences to Ilse family. A wonderful lady and teacher who taught my two children Rhys and Kelly at Awahou School. She will be sadly missed.

An outstanding teacher and person, who gave her pupils the best start possible at Awahuri School. She started teaching at Awahuri School same time as Mark and finished the year when he left.

So sad for your loss. What a wonderful teacher Ilse was. She gave our 3 children the greatest start in life..the basics in Education and life in so many ways. A very special lady to the many she educated. Great communicator to those hearts she touched both young and old. Kay Helson and family.

So sorry to read of the passing of your Mum and Nana. Ilse was my primary school teacher at Awahou School when I started school. She was such a lovely gentle, caring lady. She made going to school fun! Thinking of you all. May your memories guide you through this difficult time xx
