To Jocelyn and family, I was very said to read of Bruce's passing.
Bruce was an extremely valued employee of the Manawatu Standard during massive changes in computer technology, printing press and building upgrades. He was highly thought of within the newspaper industry and I was always proud and honoured to have worked with him in the 80's and 90's.

Condolences on the loss of Ian, I knew him as Bruce when my company was involved in the 80's in installing air conditioning systems at the Evening Standard. He was a pleasure to deal with. I remember when he went to Perth to oversee the dismantling of a huge printing press for shipment back to Palmerston North and the subsequent reassembly in the new building off Fitzherbert Ave, he was such a talented man and so easy to get on with. Fond memories of Bruce while we worked together at The Manawatu Standard and later as committee members at Hearing House. Condolences to the family as they navigate life without a special gentleman.
