He was a true gentleman.I worked for your family for more than 10 years and it was the best grounding any person could get just coming into the industry and I thank you for that Herrick was the best of the best and I would not be where I am today if I had not worked for him and your family My thoughts are with you at this very sad time

Herrick was an exceptional good person I served under his leadership for many years on the Manawatu racing club and learnt so much from him about racing administration and breeding the thoroughbred

To Judy and family please accept my deepest sympathy. Our family were just talking about Bonny and Ana Kildare last week. Herrick did enjoy playing polo before the stud took over.

Herrick was a keen supporter of the racing industry, particularly when he was President of the Manawatu Racing Club in the 1980's.
