Herbert RAUHIHI Obituary
Of Foxton. Born 20th February 1939, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. Dearly loved husband of Barbara. Loved father and father-in-law or Derek and Helen, Leighanne and Shane, Dee and Julia. Much loved Grandfather of Jordan, Nelson, Courtney, Jayden, Amy and Tayla. Herbie will be making his way to Poutu Marae on Wednesday, 11th June, 2025, arriving at 10.20am. A celebration of Herbie's life will be held this Friday, 13th of June, at Poutu Marae, 11.00am, followed by interment at the Foxton Lawn Cemetery. After the service family invite you to watch Herbert's final lap of the Foxton Racecourse.

Great memories of H N Rauhihi from the Eric Ropiha days. Eric and Herby were a great team . When Eric labeled a horse to win with Herbie riding Herbie never let him down. great balance, great hands, pretty to watch on a horse. Cheeky, happy smile. Condolences to Barbara and family

My sincere condolences to all of the family and families. I remember Herbie raceriding during the 1950,s 1960's. Plus I think that brightly coloured 3 wheel car he used to drive. My dad Sid McGreal trained during that era. Thanks for the memory
