Herbert HAMMOND Obituary

Of Palmerston North, peacefully on Tuesday 6 February 2024, aged 95 years. Treasured and loved husband of the late Olwen. Much loved father and father-in-law of Jennifer McCarthy, Barry and Lynn, Peter and Jill. A cherished Grandad (Herbie) to his six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Dearly loved brother of the late Ernie and Maud. Messages for Bert's family can be left via robertjcotton.co.nz/funerals-tributes. Heartfelt thanks to the staff of Linda Jones Retirement Village (Hamilton) for their compassionate care and support. A celebration of Bert's life will be held in the Cotton's Chapel, 697 Main Street, Palmerston North, on Wednesday 14 February 2024, at 1.00pm, followed by interment at Kelvin Grove Cemetery.
