Joy was a pleasant person, with a confident voice and a ready smile . Always good fun on tramping trips, when an active club member . My condolences to her family . And there will be happy memories of a likeable cheerful person, for her many friends . Have fun in those celestial mountains, Joy . Prepare some future trips !

We will always remember Joy and her love of tramping.She was amazing and I thought of her as Joy tweetle toes Whitehead.When she was doing tramping that we met Joy.We were amazed that despite losing a lung she did not stop her from tramping.It was so sad to hear that her last years have been so hard for her.But now she'll be tramping with the lord.

Condolences Joy was such an energy and fun when I taught with her at Remuera Primary . What was even more fun was that as 2nd cousins I got to say Hi Coussie each day . Special times and a lovely lady
