I've known Heather for about 15 years through teaching and learning circles that a bunch of us have run at Massey Uni. I was so sad to hear that she passed away before Christmas, and just wanted to acknowledge what a wonderful presence she was here - generously sharing her ideas, making time for others, cleverly re-writing our attempts to recruit new members to teaching circles each year (she was so clever with words), and showing kindness and good humour always. I'm so grateful to have known her.

My deepest condolences to Heather's family. I always found Heather cheerful and full of life. She always had time for chit-chat, whether in the corridors at the SST at Massey, the car park, or the Yoga center.
You will be sadly missed, Heather. Rest in peace.
