Knew Hazel when we lived in Pahiatua. My father Vern Brown worked in Wright Stevenson's in the liquor department. Hazel had a common interest in racing & Dad likewise. Whenever I met Hazel she was always up for a good old chat. A very nice person. RIP Hazel

Our family has many happy memories of Hazel. She visited us where we lived in NZ and also visited us in England. Hazel was always interested in our achievements and well being. Lovely Hazel, rest in peace from the Cornforth family in England.

Many great memories of your visits to us in Switzerland Hazel. Lunch in the Black Forest, ice creams on v hot days - you were always the first one ready to go. Hazel`s father and my gfather Bob Cornforth were brothers from County Durham! As cousins my mum Myra and Hazel shared many interests and were such good friends! BUT horse racing was serious stuff, a key interest shared with mum`s brother Norman (died 20 yrs ago this week).
Hazel, that´s the end of an era thanks for all the good times!! Love from us all Alan Greta Darius and Tobias xxx

It was a real pleasure to have known Hazel for many a year, working with her in the late 1950´s when working for Wright Stevenson´s in Pahiatua. Was so good to meet again at one or two of our Pahiatua xpats reunions.
Many will remember her for many good reasons, I remember her too as a very capable office manager, firstly with WFCA and then with Wright Stevenson´s. Well remember her interest in horse racing as a pastime. Rest in peace dear lady.

Hazels mum and my grandmother were best friends and neighbours at Toki. Hazel became the little sister to my dad Jimmy and his brothers and sisters. Hazel continued to be part of the Reichenbach family with visits, phone calls and invites to special family events and of course providing some TAB advice! Sending our support to your dear cousins and their families at this time
