Harold SHEPHERD Obituary

My condolences to you, Stella, and your family.
Harold was an integral member of the group who taught together at Palmerston North College of Education as colleagues and continue to meet as friends. At College I was in Harold´s Teaching of Reading team. He was also always ready to give backstage support to college drama productions.
Harold has been a kind and loyal friend to many of us over the years. I shall miss his stalwart presence.

I remember Mr Shepherd well from West End School, followed on by working at West End Medical. You will be missed Mr Shepherd. RIP

My condolences to you and your whanau, Stella. Harold is remembered as a respected Reading Recovery Tutor colleague, and a wise mentor of teachers, amongst many other fine virtues. He will be missed.

Going to miss saying hi to you at the Masonic Shep. You were one of my favourite teachers at West End school. When I got a bit older I remember babysitting Blake and then the exciting ride home afterwards, what kerbs Also alot of fun had at the family cricket get togethers. You've left me with alot of fun memories Mr Shepherd x

So sorry for you in your loss of Harold. He is remembered as a wise and respected colleague of the many Reading Recovery Tutors of his era. He had an exceptional intellect and a skilful knack of questioning that got you to think about ideas in a completely different way. And all that shared in such a genial manner! Such a sad, sad loss and too soon.

my memory goes back many years when the Shepherd family (Malcolm,Lillian Harold ,David and Judith) worshipped with us at the Wellington South Corps of the Salvation Army.A wonderful Christian Family. Harold played in our band for some time,but my memories of him as a very good Spin Bowler in our Sally Cricket team of which I was the Captain. Great memories and my thoughts and prayers goto the Bereaved . May gods love Surround each one.David, Rene and Wayne Howan.
