Departed this life at 12:40 a.m., on June 23, 2015. Husband of the late Lois McFarlane, father of The Reverend Canon Kevin Bothwell (Toni), Alison Brown (Drew) and the late Adrienne Samuk (Igor). Grandfather of six, Tristan (Ariel), Ian, Kieran (Kate), Christopher, Emma, and Leslie. Dr. Bothwell was educated at the University of Toronto Schools, the U of T (Political Science and Economics), Trinity College (Theology) and the Ontario College of Education. He was an Anglican priest (Diocese of Toronto), teacher, broadcaster and writer, honourary Fellow of the Canadian School of Management and recipient of the Canadian Confederation Centennial Medal. A Requiem Eucharist will be held at St. Thomas' Church in St. Catharines (99 Ontario Street) on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at 10:00 a.m., with the main celebration of life and Requiem Eucharist to be held at St. John's, East Orangeville (3907 Hwy 9, East of Orangeville) at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2015.
