Gordon WAPP Obituary

WAPP, Gordon Albert:
Reg No 653931 Pte, 22nd Battalion, J Force. Of Feilding. On September 19, 2022 (peacefully), at Palmerston North Hospital A & E, in his 97th year. Dearly loved husband of the late Nola, dearly loved special father of Lloyd and Katherine, Lyn and Robin Wohlers, John and Shirley, much loved Poppa of all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loved brother of the late Ken, and the late Claude, brother-in-law of Audrey. Sincere thanks to the A & E Staff and especially to Woodfall Lodge for their loving care and support of Gordon in the last 15 months. A Lutheran Service will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022, at 11.00am, at William Cotton & Sons Funeral Chapel, 29 Beattie Street, Feilding, followed by interment at the Feilding Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Feilding Order of St John would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Messages to 29 Haydon Street, Palmerston North 4414. For those unable to attend, Gordon's service will be live streamed on his tribute page at www.williamcotton.co.nz/tributes
