I remember Gordon well when playing against COB and social cricket during the summer.No mean sportsman that boy.

So sad to hear of a good mate Gordon´s passing. We were happy to celebrate his 80th birthday with him and family. Colin has great memories of the many COB rugby matches playing alongside him at lock. We are sorry we are unable to attend Gordon´s funeral as we are having to go up to the Coromandel. Judy and Colin Watkins

I'm so sad to hear of your passing Gordon. RIP My Friend. I send my Condolences to your lovely family. I remember when you and Lorraine started dating, and the time you chose to jump there hedge instead of going down to the gate, and broke your leg. That special time you and Lorraine took Gaylene and l as 13 year old's, in you Morris Minor car to Napier for our school holidays. Arthur and l attended your Wedding. To the Gray family. So sad to hear of Gordon's passing. A real legend of College Old Boys Rugby. Gordon along with other players of that era set the standard for future teams.
