Gerald FIRTH Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gerry Firth, at the age of 82, on Tuesday 4 June 2024. Gerry leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He is survived by his beloved wife, Dora, his dear sister, Pauline, his loving children, Julie and Robert, his devoted daughter-in-law, Kris, and his treasured grandchildren, Aolani, Tane, and Tamati. Gerry's kindness, curiosity, and ongoing drive touched the lives of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the community. A service will be held for Gerry on Thursday 13 June 2024 at 1.00pm in the Cotton's Chapel, 697 Main Street, Palmerston North. There will be an opportunity for brief open tributes at the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Gerry's name to Alzheimer's New Zealand, https://alzheimers.org.nz/.
