Georgina THOMAS Obituary

Originally from Pukehou, Hastings and then lived for many years on the farm in Opiki. She moved to Terrace End, Palmerston North in 2000, and most recently lived at Bupa Riverstone. Passed away on Thursday, 30th October 2025, aged 96 years. Loved wife of the late Ron, and Mum of Les, Lorraine and Robyn. Favourite mother-in-law of CJ, Mike and Bernie. Much loved Nan of Michelle, Maire, Amy, Debbie, Helen, Ben, Ruth, Emily and Karly. Special great-grandmother (Nana G) of Georgia, Hugo, Maggie, Tom, Ruby, Olivia, Hazel, Riley, Lily, Daisy, Max, Rosie, Levi and Gemma, and great-great-grandmother of Manaia and Tu-Maia. Georgina had a great love of genealogy, roses, horses, shopping and chocolate – not necessarily in that order. Georgina's wishes were "no funeral" so a private burial has taken place. In recognition of Georgina's love of animals, a donation to HUHA would be greatly appreciated via Huha.org.nz Messages to Georgina's family can be left via robertjcotton.co.nz/funerals or be sent to c/o PO Box 5191, Palmerston North 4441.
