George Albert:
Emeritus Professor of Psychology; Ex-dean of Social Sciences, Massey University. Passed away peacefully in his sleep, on Wednesday, 20 January 2016, at Wimbledon Villa, Feilding. Aged 84. Dearly loved and loving husband to Audrey; father and father-in-law to Andrew and Leanne; Pat and Chris. Grandad to Bethany, Davy and Steph, Phillip and Ciaran. Messages to Shouksmith family c/- P.O. Box 5191, Palmerston North 4441. Funeral to be held at St Andrews in the City, Church Street, Palmerston North, on Tuesday, 26 January 2016, at 11am.

Audrey and Family, my condolences on learning of your loss. Having known George since I was a student at Canterbury and as a House tutor at Rolleston House when he was warden, and later as a fellow academic, I have many memories of his teaching and contributions to the profession of psychology. My thoughts are now with you at this time and I wish you many happy memories once your grief is past

Dear Audrey,
Sincere sympathies with the passing of George. He has a very fond place in our hearts. It was also a personal pleasure to work for him at Massey and with him with our shared interests in both aviation and the history of psychology in New Zealand. Beyond that his and your contributions to the community were and are significant. While we cannot be with you and the family today our thoughts are with you.
