George PROCTER Obituary
Passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on Friday, 21 January 2022 at home. He is reunited in heaven with his twin sister Margaret. Dearly loved husband, father, grandfather and friend. A celebration of George's life will be held at Gateways Christen Fellowship, 174 - 178 Church Street, West End, Palmerston North at 1.00pm on Wednesday, 26 January 2022. Colourful clothes are welcome. In order to comply with covid red settings and to provide opportunity for everyone to farewell George there will be independent zones at the venue for family, vax passes and mixed. Please social distance and wear a mask on entrance to the venue until you are seated. For those that are unable to attend George's service will be livestreamed, please email [email protected] for details. My heart goes out to you and all of George´s Family. It a real shock. I have fond memories of George. I enjoyed the long chats we had over the years at many conferences he was involved in. Safe in the arms of Jesus.

It is with a heavy heart to learn this afternoon of George's passing. George and I worked together at Tararua Television (TTV) between 2011 and 2013 where he was the driving force behind the Undercurrent show. Unfortunately I am not able to attend the celebration of George's life tomorrow however do pass on my sincere condolences to the family. The Lord has great things instore for George and it is not goodbye but rather, until we meet again.

Such a shock to read of George's passing; I have so many memories of George, going back a long way. He was such a positive person and friend to all. Sincere condolences to Jo and family.
