George. It's somewhat ironic that although our paths never crossed in Timor we would catch up over a pint or two in the Irish Bar. Great stories and memories.
RIP my friend

George you were my boss and my mentor at IRL/CI. I couldn't have asked for s more caring and supportive manager, you were generous with your time and patience and I will be forever grateful to you. I'm glad we had the chance to share a beer or two when you were in the UK a few years ago. We got our bottle of dog after all, Aye ...Stephen & family

I worked with George at Hort Research. We had many a laugh at our Finance Team Meetings with George. He was a caring person whom I respected and appreciated. He always was helpful and kind. Nothing was too small or too big for him to tackle. The world will miss this man terribly.

George, I remember the first time we met at the Celtic Inn, it was like we'd always known each other & I was also your taxi home that night! Have a dram up there & rest in peace.
