George Jane Obituary

Of Nottawa, passed away at home on Sunday September 11, 2022, in his 73rd year. George was born in Collingwood to parents Thomas and Dorothy Jane (nee Bergman). He will be forever missed by his sisters Georgette Henderson (Wayne), Beverley Kleinsmith (Lawrence) and Vivian Anderson (Robert). Dear uncle of Robert, Teresa, Samuel, Sarah, Jennifer, James, and Brayden. He will also be missed by his cousins, friends, and his neighbors. Predeceased by his parents, brother Walter Jane and his sister Christine Savard. George worked for many years in the housekeeping department of the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital. As a hobby, he created many bird houses. George was well known for attending many yard sales and getting a bargain at the same time. Arrangements entrusted to Chatterson Funeral Home, 404 Hurontario Street, Collingwood. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held.
