Gary & family and also Shirley, so saddened to hear that George has passed away.
I have fond memories of George at the Freyberg Pool and at our lunch group catch-ups.
Sorry that we won't make it to his funeral as Ivan & I are out of town that day.

George will be sadly missed by many. It has been a privilege and honor to have met George at the Lane 6 mermaids/mermen pool where we girls nicknamed him "Kermit" because of his swimming attire. I will never forget your smile and sense of humor George.

George, like a few of his vintage, was a person that can never be replace.
His dedication to the community had to be seen, to appreciate it true depth and breadth.
RIP George
